Welcome to The Old Piggery. This is a well appointed, light & airy barn-style modern building, in a quiet & untouched part of the New Forest, close to the Solent coastline.

The Old Piggery offers 2 bedroom self catering accommodation on one level for both couples & families: It sleeps 2-4 comfortably.

Bedroom 1 is the larger of the two and has a kingsize bed, wardrobe with drawers under & bedside cabinets with window overlooking the southern side of the garden. Bedroom 2 has a single with guest bed under and chest of drawers overlooking the stable yard & paddocks beyond.

The Old Piggery has a large open plan living/dining area with a dining table, comfy sofa, woodburner, fully fitted kitchen with all utensils, shower room, TV, DVD & iPod dock.

The accommodation is conveniently situated between the New Forest Villages of East Boldre & East End, close to Beaulieu & approximately 10 minutes drive from New Forest Towns of Lymington and Brockenhurst & only 1.5 miles from the nearest secluded & private Solent coastal beach.

The Old Piggery is a fantastic base for miles of cycling, forest walks, running & horse riding – all from our front gate. The nearest launch site for sailing is Lymington. Hatchet Pond with its spectacular sunsets is a short drive away as are East Boldre’s village store and pub.

Outside area:

The French doors open out onto a brick built patio area and garden which is screened by willow fencing, trees & shrubs from the owners garden giving you plenty of privacy. Garden table & chairs and BBQ are provided. Bike/windsurf/dinghy storage available if required. Off-Road parking.

Additional information:

Bed linen & towels provided (please bring beach towels). Basic consumables provided, ie. Sugar/pepper/salt/tea/coffee etc.

Please note that the accommodation is part of a smallholding. We have a small number of animals; chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, cats and VERY friendly dog! We grow much of our own produce, and when available, we are happy to sell you our free range eggs and vegetables.
